Last weekend I finally got out and shot the XVR 460 Magnum. It was fun and the thing is accurate. The guy next to me said it was blowing out a 2 foot ball of orange flame with the magnum loads. I went over to the Silhouette range and looked up an old friend I used to shoot with. I am going to start shooting the matches next month. This time I am going to shoot standing. Today I took a friend to a swap meet for vintage tethered gas powered race cars. They run on a string or a rail. My buddy bought a nice King brand midget style car that was made in Australia. Below are 2 photos of hand built 5th scale cars. The first is a Shelby Cobra with a weedeater style engine and is remote control. The second photo is of a hand built Offy dual overhead cam 4 cylinder engine. It is in a midget. That takes a lot of skill and patience. It is almost motorcycle riding time. Looking forward to it.
