In July 2004, over emails between two friends, the concept of an all womens motorcycle club was born. We had just completed the Motorcycle Safety Course and were hooked by the thrill and freedom of riding. We knew that we werent alone there had to be other women in the Wichita, Kansas area who felt the same. After forming the Krome Kitty Motorcycle Club, we set out to spread our enthusiasm to women who had the same passion. As the saying goes, if you build it they will come. At the end of KKMCs first riding season, the club grew from just the two of us to a group of 45. These are 45 women who have families, careers, and other life obligations, but yet twice a month, put all that aside. After turning the key and pulling back on the throttle, theres only one thing on our minds and thats living life on two wheels. Our mission of promoting the image and recognition of female motorcyclists is combined each year with assisting those in need with an annual charity ride.
