Deep in the heart of beautiful Saxony, in the middle of the Ore Mountains there lies a small and quaint town, called Zschopau. This is exactly the Zschopau where for over 80 years only one thing counts. Motorcycles The people of Zschopau not only live, but eat sleep and breathe motorcycles and have gasoline in their veins. The MZ Motorcycle and twowheeler works GmbH is today an ultramodern company with a computeraided development lab and a type of vehicle testing similar to those used by successful German automobile manufacturers. We at MZ use a very high tech build process but never lose sight of our heritage for handcrafted quality. We have the most scenic and demanding testing facility with real world conditions right in our back yard, deep in the Ore Mountains. The test track is the street, close and winding. The results speak form themselves. The team of 200 people, is presently working on a product range with an extensive master plan. In this plan are the 125cc, Fun, Offroad, Enduro, Touring bikes and naturally the 1000S. With the 1000S a complete new chapter in the company has opened ??? entrance into the class. Production has already begun in December 2003.
